Mapping the Terrain of Used and Rare Books

“Freezer Burn,” by Joe Lansdale

Joe Lansdale is a master storyteller; it’s as simple as that. In “Freezer Burn” he delivers a delicious, unapologetic story about an East Texas anti-hero who finds himself wound up in a freak show crawling with scheming misfits and one powerfully mysterious frozen man.

The characters are well fleshed-out and, really, just plain awesome. The story is tight and moves like a train on greased wheels. It’s a tight, funny, suspenseful, and somewhat heartbreaking book.

I highly recommend this one.

A good sence of humor. Again: A good sense of humor. That's what keeps us sane and human and Kind.
